[ It's been a few hours since the execution. Everything's back to 'normal' surprisingly quick - someone died, someone died and revived, a place blew up... In other words, an ordinary Saturday. Angelo dispassionately observes how easy it is for them all to get used to something like this.
He heads to the Menagerie half out of boredom, and half because he wants to see how the more innocent creatures here are faring. Ayaka is there before him, and he acknowledges her with a nod. ]
[ since the capybara and turtle exercise, ayaka has been hanging more around the menagerie than usual. though she's someone that appreciates solitude more than your average person, the company of animals is one that she's both not entirely used to but surprisingly comfortable with.
it's a good place to relax, after such stressful two days.
ayaka tenses up when he speaks up at her, not expecting it. ]
Follower... oh, Richard. [ she's gotten better at this, at not calling him by his servant class. ] No, he's probably doing his own thing right now. I'm just looking at the animals.
[ Angelo steps into the room and takes a look into the turtle enclosure. He wouldn't actually be able to tell the one he raced with apart anymore, but that doesn't mean he's entirely immune to some kinship here. ]
Excellent question. It sounded like he brought them in for this week's little challenge, but that doesn't mean much when we only have two loops to go off. Things might change in an entirely different way next time.
[ she also, has no real way to tell which capybara used her as a pillow, but she doesn't mind either. it'd be nice if the place stayed, but knowing their luck, that's not happening. ]
